Mediation

Sacramento Divorce Mediation Lawyers

Mediation is an alternative way to achieve a divorce settlement. In mediation, both sides attempt to resolve issues such as property division, child custody, child support, and spousal support through a series of meetings with one of our attorneys, who is a neutral mediator.

Our firm's founder, California family law specialist* Hugh Allen, was one of the first divorce mediators in the Sacramento area. Mr. Allen started Sacramento Divorce Mediation Services more than 25 years ago and continues to serve clients who want to achieve an amicable rather than a litigious divorce settlement.

In mediation both parties meet with our attorneys to negotiate a settlement. We do not represent either party. We remain strictly neutral. When you choose mediation over litigation, you're opening the door to creative solutions while saving you time, money and the emotional toll litigation can bring.

Should you spouse become difficult and uncooperative at any point, litigation is always available later: if for some reason mediation does not work out, you can always litigate in court.

If you have any questions, you may contact our Sacramento divorce mediation lawyers through this website or call us at 877-825-4832 and we will discuss your legal matters.
